We were married December 30, 2006.

We are blessed with two amazing sons…Kahle James and Bodee Sean.  Our days revolve around them!  They are 17 1/2 months apart.  They are best friends one minute and enemies the next.  I think that’s pretty typical of siblings.
We are very happy and content with life.  We are both teachers who love our jobs!  Micah coaches FB and stays busy with his FFA program.  I am hoping to get back into coaching once the boys are in school.  I hate being away from them all day….so I don’t want to add more hours!  We have a great church in Rock Valley and enjoy being youth group leaders for RCYF.  Micah and I help in the nursery, and Micah is an usher and on one of the praise teams.  I’m so glad he’s using his singing talent.   We have wonderful families who live close by (George) and far away (other side of IA, MN, KS, TX….) We have eight nephews and three nieces.  I wonder who gets spoiled?
We are usually found outside when the weather cooperates.  Our garden is full of spinach, strawberries, and watermelon.  I take care of the spinach (because it’s so easy to grow) and Micah tends to the berries.  He got that knack from his dad.  We’d like to move to an acreage someday.  We are just waiting for the right place that God has planned for us.
