After the boys got done inhaling tons of cotton candy at neighbor Brekyn’s 1st b-day party, we were invited to take a dip in our neighbor’s parents’ backyard pool.  The boys had a blast.  Kahle had fun squirting everyone with his new noodle sprayer, and Bodee loved practicing the motorboat.  That definitely made retired lifeguard daddy happy. It was relaxing to sit by the fire and wind down for the night.
We ate Sunday dinner with my family in George and got to see new baby Nicholas!  He looks just like brother Jack!  After lots of digging in Silly G’ma’s dirt outside, we walked on the George Trail.  Bodee and Kahle both fell asleep along the way.  Brad & Ashley stopped by before they headed back to SF.  Taylor still looks like a tiny peanut!  She got to stay at Brad’s parents’ while Brad & Ash had a weekend in the cities.
Well, we had two busy days of summer so far.  The next two and a half months will be just as crazy.  :)

We had our last day of school on Thurs., May 27th.  My junior high kiddos and I headed out for our annual Service Learning Projects the last two days of school, so it was weird to end the school year not even in the classroom.  My group visited residents at the Canton nursing home, and we cleaned up Lake Pahoja.  If you camp there, please notice the sparkling bathrooms.  ;)
I got many hugs from students.  One girl even had tears…which made me feel so good (and bad for leaving them next year).  I was blessed with AWESOME students.  It’s hard saying goodbye, but I am just thrilled to get to be with my two boys even more.  I know it’ll be an adjustment for all of us.  I have a feeling we’ll stay very busy.
Today is Friday, and I just checked out with my principal.  I plan on meeting my hubby at his classroom, having a picnic, and helping him finish painting his room.  We are going to pick up the boys from their end of the school year party at the campground at 1:00 and start summer break!  We have many trips/activities planned!

My brother, Ryan, and his wife had their baby this morning.  Nicholas Dean is 8 lbs. 11 oz. He is 20 3/4 inches!  We are so happy for the family of four.  I’m sure brother Jack will show little Nicholas the ropes.  :)

We have been staying busy in RV.  There is always something going on.  We went to a cancer fundraiser in RV.  The boys loved the horse & buggy ride (Kahle got to sit up front with the “driver”) and the games along the trail.  I believe Bodee got his first tattoo.  He kept trying to scratch it off his arm.  :)   We also had a blast at our friend’s surprise party in Larchwood.  They had a cotton candy machine and a huge jumping castle.  The boys were worn out!  Our neighbors bought a small jumping castle for their little girl, Brekyn.  She just turned one.  Needless to say, our boys are making sure it gets used.  Speaking of used, does anyone have a little boys’ bike (or a guitar…that’s my new desire) we could buy?

Also, my new thing is Tupperware.  I am now selling it, so if you need/want anything….I can order it for you!  I can e-mail you with sales that are going on too, so let me know.  :)   I’ve never put on a party, but I will definitely try.  My sister-in-law has been a huge help in getting me started.  Thanks Caryn!

Well, as we made the rounds to graduation parties, we had only(??) two mishaps with the cake.  Bodee thought he needed to try the cake…by himself…sinking both hands into the neatly decorated cakes.  Luckily, the graduates and parents just laughed.  They thought it was hilarious.  I would too–if it wasn’t my kid!

We had our first fire in our backyard pit.  It was great hanging out with the neighbors in nice weather. We are excited for the last two weeks of school…it’s going to go fast!

I asked the WL school board for permission to take a one year leave of absence from teaching, and they gave me the okay!!!! I will take next year off and be a full-time Mom!  We are thrilled to have this opportunity.  Just this week I have started selling Tupperware.  I am hoping that this can be a way for me to get out of the house occasionally.  So, I would LOVE to do a party for you in the future!  :)

We celebrated Kahle’s 3rd birthday with my family in George on Wed. night.  He actually turned three at 11:45 p.m. on Tues., May 4th. (Rick and Rachel said he needed his own special day, so I couldn’t have Kahle on their anniversary–May 5th). Anyway, Kahle is blessed with so many loving family members!  G’ma Timmerman (G’pa stayed home b/c he wasn’t feeling the greatest)., G’ma Krull., Mavis, Kevin, Silly G’ma (my mom), Ryan, Dee, Jack, Rachel, Noah, Faith, and Reid were all there to help us party.  Kahle got awesome presents, and he loved blowing out the candles on his firetruck cake!  It got to be a late night, so on the way home to RV, he asked if he could fall asleep! :)   I was surprised the sugar high had worn off already.  I’m pretty sure he only ate the frosting from the cake!  We had a great time with everyone.  The food was delicious and it was so good to see everyone!!  Thanks for helping us celebrate!  We are now looking forward to seeing Micah’s side of the family this weekend!!
