We got together with some friends in the Sioux Falls/Brandon area. Adam was an awesome cook and grilled for us. Becky catered to our needs, which was nice being that the other two girls, Ashley and Jessica, are both pregnant (and uncomfortable). The kids had a great time playing and dancing. There were a few times when we could barely see the floor with all the fun toys Wil has. (Again, sorry for the mess). My boys fell asleep in no time on the way home. It was so good to see the Petersons, Overmans, and Rypkemas! We definitely need to get together more often!

Rick, Rachel, and Noah are the proud parents/brother to Faith Marie Nielsen. She was born on March 22nd at 11:13 A.M. (Rachel was due the 20th, so she was induced Mon. morning). Faith is 8 lbs. 14 oz. and looking great! We can’t wait to meet her! Everyone is doing well. My mom is down there to help in any way she can. We are all proud of her for taking off a week of work! She is a workaholic, so this is impressive.
On a side note, the Webers are LOVING this weather. We can’t get enough of it! Bodee is back to eating sand and sidewalk chalk. :)
Well, our brackets are filled out. I went with the teams that sounded cool. As my students and co-workers have been talking…I’m starting to doubt that the teams with the cool names might not make it as far as I’d like.
We are having a Weber competition. The heat is on! I don’t know too much news. The four of us wore green today for St. Patty’s Day. I told Rachel to have her baby girl today and name her Patty. We’ll see if she follows my advice. Enjoy the sun, everyone!
Micah and I went on a real date last night! He didn’t have school today (because RV is at state b-ball) so he brought the boys to school during 8th hour. Kahle loved seeing the buses and watching the kids. It’s hard to believe that he’ll be the one walking through school hallways with his hands behind his back in a couple of years. (Tear). Bodee had a great time wrestling the globes in my room, digging through the trash, and eating markers/pencils/paper/etc. Micah’s brother picked up the boys so that Micah and I could head to SF for a quick supper. We ate at HuHot—love it!! Micah was impressed. We also bummed around Target for awhile. It was nice to get away, even though we love spending time with our boys. Well, we are ready for another weekend. It’s back to Rockwell for G’pa Whipple’s 85th birthday party. We wish him many more years to come!
P.S. Only 10 Monday’s left of school (we don’t have school on the Mon. after Easter)
The Webers are getting a huge case of spring fever. The boys “helped” me earlier this week by going through tubs of clothes…..while we wore shorts! We had to check out our stash of spring apparel. I think Bodee will be able to wear some of Kahle’s summer clothes from last year. They are just built so differently. We often hear from other people how different the two of them are. Micah and I definitely agree. Kahle is into building rockets with his legos, helping me/G’pa Weber bake, and reading books. Bodee continues to be the toothbrush stealer. He runs around the house getting into absolutely everything! His dimple and beautiful blue eyes make it hard to be mad at him. Micah has been busy with FFA competitions. They have districts on Saturday. Well, have a good weekend!
