That’s how long it’s been since my dad passed away. The time has gone by quickly. He still feels so real and close. I just wish my boys could have gotten to know him. On a happier note, they do get to spend time with their G’pa Weber this weekend. He’s so good with them–it makes my heart melt. G’ma Weber is good at spoiling them, too! She buys them the real chocolate milk, not the boring Ovaltine like I do.
I took Kahle to the doctor yesterday after daycare. He was diagnosed with strep throat. He’s on some meds, so hopefully he’s feeling back to normal soon. Like I said, we’re suppose to visit the Weber Farm (piggies) this weekend. Micah also said he’s not feeling up to par today. I hope that doesn’t turn into something. Have a great weekend, everyone. I’ll try to include pictures next time. Our photos page might have some new ones. Micah is good at taking care of getting them on there. Oh, I better include Bodee in this post. He’s really starting to become a little “rascal.” His temper tantrums (hitting/biting/screaming) are not so cool.

We had (actually still have) quite the houseful this weekend. Micah’s brother Wade (who’s been living with us since Jan.) and his family were all here on Thursday evening. They looked at some houses in Spirit Lake, so hopefully they can get their house sold in Manhattan. Micah’s parents, Dean and Bea, and Garett and Wyatt (his nephews) came Friday evening. The grandkids had fun playing outside a couple of times. I guess they were jumping off the back shed’s roof. Wendy–there were no broken bones! :) Caryn and the four kids are staying today because of bad weather in Kansas. Hopefully it doesn’t make its way up here. We don’t want anymore snow days! Well, I’m tempted to take a nap with the boys, but there is a lot of cleaning to get done!

Micah and I are ready for some nice weather; however, the boys have been loving playing on the huge snow pile in our yard. Micah and I even slid down the snow pile.
We spent our weekend catching up on things and just enjoying our little boys. I did some baking…which seems to disappear too fast!
Kahle had a couple of friends over Sat. night, so it was fun to see them all play. Micah even acted like a kid and wrestled until he was sweating!

RV called off school on Monday. They tried using it as a make-up day. The roads are just so slick. I had my last v-ball game last night. Sadly, we ended up with 3rd place. We know we all should have done better, so it’s frustrating. It was a fun season, though. That’s about all for now.

Wow, sorry about the lack of posts. We are staying busy around the Weber household. I have research papers keeping me busy these days, so that takes up the time after the boys are in bed. Micah’s brother, Wade, is living with us. He moved in while we were gone to Florida (which I’ll get to in a bit). His family is staying in Kansas until school gets out, then they’ll move to where ever they find a house in NW Iowa. It is a change having yet ANOTHER male in the house. I will always be outnumbered.
Okay, back our trip to Florida. Micah and I were given Greg & Wendy’s timeshare to use as a wedding gift (over three years ago). They kindly allowed us to get away for a few days. The boys were spoiled by the grandparents. They loved their time with them! Micah and I got to see the Kennedy Space Center, Coco Beach, and a dinner show. We also did some shopping at the outlet malls and rode on an air boat….where we saw alligators up close and personal!! We spent some of the time sitting in the hot tub, sipping wine, and relaxing. It was neat to walk around Downtown Disney as well. We truly appreciate Greg & Wendy’s gift of their timeshare…and the g’parents for taking good care of the boys! Oh, one last update. Kahle’s tubes are out, and he’s on meds for another ear infection. Seriously…..when will this ear trouble stop!!!??
