Four pounds is the difference between Kahle and Bodee.    We weighed each on on the wrestling scale at school.  Bodee is at 25 1/2 pounds, and Kahle is at a shocking 29 1/2.  We are very excited to see that Kahle is finally gaining some weight.  We noticed that he’s almost as tall as his friend, Colby (who is exactly two months older).  Bodee walks everywhere.  He can usually be found with a whistle or hammer (a toy one) in his hands while he makes hot laps around the house.  Kahle is still loving his tractors and wagons.  He makes the sounds to go with them as he contently plays.  His favorite reading material is the Tractor House magazine….it has pictures of tractors, skid loaders, combines, etc. in it.  He’ll flip through there–kind of like Uncle Reid and Uncle Ryan–and dream of owning them.    Kahle’s potty training is still in progress.  We aren’t pushing it too much, but he did only have one accident yesterday.  Well, that’s about all the time for now.  Have a great week, everyone.  Also, congrats to everybody having babies next spring—-Rachel, Val, Ashley, Sara, Jessica, Sara, Bre, Jamie…..who did I miss??  Please have girls–then we can set up some play dates with my boys. 

Well, I’m not sure what to say or where to start.  Our lives are hectic right now.  I often think about what we’d do if I was coaching VB.  This is my first year not coaching, which is weird.  I miss it, but I am probably one of the first teachers out of the door at 3:45–I can’t wait to pick up the boys!  Kahle has been very busy with his “new” sandbox.  The De Groot’s, our neighbors who don’t have kids yet, gave it to us one night.  He has spent hours playing with his tractors and trucks in there.  Bodee is enjoying the swing G’ma Janice got him for our swing set.  He loves to swing…he can even eat a pear while swinging.  Imagine that–him eating??!!  We are just happy it’s food and not rocks or sand (which he feasted on for many days). Micah is busy with FB and jobs around the house.  We’ve been on pear, watermelon, and cantelope overload this last week or two.  I’ve made three pear crisps already.  Also, we are in the middle of painting our kitchen green.  What a job!!  I guess that’s about it for now.  You can look at pictures on our on-line photo album.  It’s under our photos page.
