I’m back from Parkersburg….what an experience! We enjoyed hearing the local folks’ stories, building things, and growing as a youth group. I might fire our carpenter that’s going to remodel our kitchen and do it myself.
Micah has begun his “strawberry madness” phase. We’ve gotten lots from our garden already. We’re heading to Rockwell to hopefully eat strawberry pie/shortcake/shakes/etc. Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads out there. Thank the good Lord for them…whether they’re here or in Heaven.
Some of Kahle’s current favorites are: color–blue and orange, toys–tractors and skid loaders, food–raisins, fruit snacks, ice cream, cottage cheese, string cheese, and pizza, (I’m a retired dairy farmer…we have to push the dairy foods) past times–blowing bubbles (thanks Aunt Mandy for the big kit), being outside, watering the new trees and garden, being at the park, and acting like a cat. I’ll tweek Bodee’s list a little: he likes to chew on anything he can get his hands on, eat, drool, play pat-e-cake, eat, look at himself in the mirror, eat, get up on all fours and rock, scooch backwards on his belly, and eat some more!
Exciting news….Julie E. and Dusty are engaged!! We are pumped for December to come!!
